She held the rank of Assistant Professor in the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, at the College of Public Health and Co-Director of the NCI Cancer Prevention and Control Training Program. Prior to joining Roswell Park, she received her PhD in Cancer Epidemiology at the University of Arizona in Tucson in 1996. Reid has also established a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary survivorship clinical and outreach program. Reid has worked to expand Roswell Park’s pioneering Lung Cancer Screening program and develop other cancer screening initiatives within the Institute and in the communities of Western New York, working closely with clinical departments and community providers, to increase the lung, colon and breast screening compliance. As Chief of Cancer Screening and Survivorship, Dr. Reid is a Distinguished Professor of Oncology in the Department of Medicine and a key member of the Roswell Park scientific team that is collaborating with Cuban scientists on CIMAvax. In her more than 20 years at Roswell, Dr. Reid is the Chief of Cancer Screening, Survivorship and Mentorship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
